Thoracic Group

SITUATION
The Thoracic Group is New Jersey's largest provider of general thoracic services, and the national leader in minimally invasive and highly innovative technique known as Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS).


CHALLENGE
The Thoracic Group was one of the first in the world to perform the VATS procedure and a premier provider of this service. However, they had no real brand recognition or overall awareness. They needed a fresh identity to provide new patients with a sense of security and professional expertise.


SOLUTION
Alan Brooks Creative created a new identity for The Thoracic Group, which included a logo, stationery suite, corporate brochure, signage and a website. To showcase the VATS procedure interactively, Alan Brooks Creative commissioned a medical illustrator to create pertinent anatomical drawings and then produced a Flash animation. This enabled viewers to fully understand the surgery and engaged them on the website for an extended period of time.
